Featured Review: The Hideout

Tyler's Rating:

Tyler Says: At last Chicago, I am home. Took me nearly 4.5 years to head out to the Hideout- it's the one and only dive that supports the music I listen to. I am finally at ease- ya know I was a little worried I wasn't gonna hear some decent bluegrass in this dry town- but shit— Devil in a Woodpile is damn great. They play every Tuesday. Be there. It was sweaty hot but jumpin' there last Tuesday. Everyone wanted to be there, they were there for real music. The week prior I also saw Rachel Ries and very very talented folk singer- and she's local. I gotta say this is my favorite place to be for music, the bar is 100 some years old, the interiors are dim but lively. They have a quaint patio out front for the smokers. The beer selection is decent. PBR cans at $2. See me there next Tuesday.
